The LA Times broke a story this morning about Schwarzenegger’s history of sexual harassment. Within hours, Schwarzenegger apologized, saying:

“Yes, I have behaved badly sometimes,” he said. “Yes, there were unruly movie sets…. I did things I thought were playful. But now I recognize that I have offended people and to those people that I have offended, I want to say to them, ‘I am deeply sorry about that, and I apologize because this is not what I am trying to do.’”

Best thing to do with any scandal is apologize immediately and hope it dies. But read the Times story; his behavior was pretty damn bad, and I don’t know if it’s going to go over well with women voters.
