Happy birthday man.
I dreaded 30 but it didn't feel any different once I got there. My 30's (to the halfway point anyway) have been the best years of my life with the birth of my daughter, a good job, and, as they say in the Sopranos, "This thing of ours" (poker in this case, not whacking people and spending our days in the back office of a strip club. Although....)
Anyway, I hope the next 5 years are the best of your life as well.

I wanted to shoot myself when I turned 30... alas I was working as a suit for JP Morgan at the time and I was burdened by torubles with the ladies. But... the last two years of my life have been one wild ride! Hope you have a kick ass day and a better year ahead!

Surprisingly enough, I didn't spend this day drinking alone in my bedroom closet. Three Guinness and fried food at Tom Bergin's and a shot of Patron at El Carmen. Not bad for a Tuesday like any other. Thanks to everyone who showed up tonight, and don't forget the official party is on Friday, with poker to follow on Saturday and possibly Sunday. Oy. My liver.
