Bad Ass
From the latest issue of Wired:
Shockingly Small ChangeIt unleashes 10,000 megawatts of instantaneous energy .... [Inventor] Basura ... usually focuses all that juice on a US quarter. When he does, the coin doesn't melt or vaporize. Instead, with an ear-shattering crack, its molecules rearrange and nuzzle closer, shrinking the coin's circumference to that of a dime.

I'd like to see a project like that for this area and Orange County. I'll bet southern California was beautiful before we stomped all over it.

I'd like to get my car outfitted with a 22,000V capacitor to use on people who hold up traffic by stopping at intersections when they don't have to. Then I could just drive over them. That would rule.

That's a great idea, Caelita. I'd have used the shrinker on that woman yesterday and let her park under my car.

I don't know... I think that would be too nice of you. Perhaps if she'd somehow magically gotten to the spot ahead of you - then you could have used it on her car and parked over it.

Yeah, the keyword of course is "magically," since I probably knew what she was doing before she did.
