Dude, you really really need to get over this.

And way to quote a completely unbiased source... I'm awaiting their analysis of the 1960 election results from Illinois, but that may be a little optimistic.

Again, you just don't seem to understand. This is not about getting Bush out of office or changing the 2004 election results (though I have to admit it'd be nice to see Bush Rove locked up).

It's not something we should just "get over". Voting is the basis behind our whole government. I already don't trust the government, and it's even worse if I can't trust whether or not they were legitimately elected.

Let me repeat that. This is not about getting Bush out of office. It's about protecting the future of our elections.

And you need to get over Clinton's blowjob.

I think Fox News' fair and balanced investigation into election security and reliability is still in the planning stages, so we'll just have to go with the non-partisan government report.

As for letting things go, Congress will not voluntarily make any kind of progress toward securing the voting process unless people remember past problems and push for reforms.

It's ridiculous that local officials have the responsibility and the burden of running federal elections; as long as the federal government is as powerful and important as it is, Congress needs to step up and make sure it's done right.

That is, if they weren't a bunch of corrupt and lying bastards.

I agree with both of you... in principle.

The problem is that having government investigate and/or try to reform government is, well, futile. Congress will NEVER reform the system that keeps it within power, no matter who is in the Oval Office.

And I didn't bring up the BJ, you did.
